
Cold Water Acclimatisation. Cold water swimming, open water swimming, wild swimming… it’s all over the media at the moment! Most recently it’s said to be a key to the cure of dementia, it’s also said to be a stress reliever, good for immunity, a prescription for depression.
Build Confidence. You would love to swim in open water but you feel like you can’t. Your barrier could be the cold water, sea creatures, weed, tides, currents, waves, depth … the sea is big and it does demand respect, but the more you know and experience the better you are at reading conditions and understanding your own body.
